Icy Conditions Lead To Three Rollover Accidents

Mahaska County Sheriff’s Department

Oskaloosa, Iowa – Making the commute to work on Friday morning got a little dicey for those traveling in Mahaska County.

According to the Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office, twelve accidents happened in the county, with most of them being small fender-benders.

There were, however, three rollover accidents, resulting in some minor injuries to motorists.

According to Mahaska County Chief Deputy Scott Miller, the roads around Oskaloosa and south were the most treacherous.

Even though it’s been a mild winter so far, residents are urged to slow down and be prepared for winter driving conditions.
