Hy-Vee to be Presenting Sponsor for ‘American Ethanol 200’

September NASCAR Camping World Truck Series date will be final race of 2012 season

NEWTON, Iowa – July 17, 2012 – Officials of Hy-Vee, Inc, have announced that the West Des Moines, Iowa based grocery store chain will present the ‘American Ethanol 200’ NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Saturday, September 15 at Iowa Speedway in Newton.

“Hy-Vee is proud to present another exciting event in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series,” said Jon Wendel, Executive Vice President, Supply Chain and Marketing, for Hy-Vee, Inc. “Our customers and employees have shown their support for truck racing in Iowa, and the ‘American Ethanol 200 presented by Hy-Vee’ will put an exclamation point on another great racing season at Iowa Speedway.”

Chuck Spicer, VP of Sales and Marketing at Iowa Speedway, said Hy-Vee’s partnership will be a huge benefit to race fans who visit the track in mid-September.

“Hy-Vee understands how to make an experience enjoyable, so having them out here to close out another race season, along with Venom Energy, is great,” noted Spicer.

Race fans who visit Hy-Vee’s website can sign up for a chance to win a Polaris Razor Side-by-Side, provided by Venom Energy and the Van-Wall Powersports group. During pre-race ceremonies for the ‘American Ethanol 200 presented by Hy-Vee’ on September 15, the winner of the Razor Side-by-Side will be announced.

Tickets for the ASA Midwest Tour super late model race on Friday, September 14, and the ‘American Ethanol 200 presented by Hy-Vee’ on Saturday, September 15 start at just $20 each day, and are available online at www.iowaspeedway.com, or by calling 1-866-RUSTY-GO (787-8946).
