Holiday Season Prep Begins To Ramp Up At Penn Central Mall

Oskaloosa, Iowa – The holiday season is just weeks away, and preparations are underway at Penn Central Mall in Oskaloosa to welcome the community into their facility.

Penn Central Mall Manager Mike Gipple says he’s looking forward to the train rides that will take place on Tuesday evenings. The first rides kick off on November 29th, beginning at 5 pm.

There will be a gospel concert in center court on December 1st; Santa will be at the Mall on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 3 pm and Wednesdays from 5 to 7 pm after the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Mall will also be hosting Christmas Caroling on December 22nd. The Young Ambassadors Contest will be on November 28th, beginning at 8 pm.

“What we want to do is we want to be that destination that families bring their loved ones that travel into their community too because we want to make sure that we’re doing something for the whole family throughout this holiday season,” said Gipple.
