Hills Fest Scheduled For May 31, 2019
OTTUMWA — As an open invitation to explore the Ottumwa campus of Indian Hills Community College, Hills Fest is scheduled for Friday, May 31, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The event, billed as “Food, Fun and All Things Indian Hills,” will include many free activities such as inflatables, carnival games, a train and bands. There will be food trucks offering free food as well as booths where visitors to campus can get more information about Indian Hills and the more than 70 academic programs offered at the college.
A duck drop will take place at the waterfall on the east side of campus at 7:00 p.m. with cash prizes awarded to those with the lucky ducks. In addition, a 5K glow run will be held at 8:30 p.m.
The race course will wind its way through the IHCC campus, starting at the Advanced Technology Center.
