GRINNELL’S VRECENAR NAMED MWC VOLLEYBALL DEFENSIVE PERFORMER OF THE WEEK

GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College’s Sydney Vrecenar ’18, a 5-7 setter/defensive specialist from Colorado Springs, Colo. (William J. Palmer), has been named the Midwest Conference Volleyball Defensive Performer of the Week.
Vrecenar had a big weekend for the Pioneers, coming up with 10 digs and an assist in a match with Lawrence University. She followed up with 11 digs and two service aces against St. Norbert College.
