GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College women’s tennis player Laura Krull ’13 (New Braunfels, Texas/Keystone National) has earned a $7,500 scholarship from the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship Committee.

Krull, a sociology major who was named to the NCAA Division III Academic All-America At-Large Team, made history this spring by becoming the first Pioneer woman to earn a spot in the NCAA D-III National Tennis Championships.

Last fall, Krull became the first-ever Grinnell woman to win the USTA/ITA Regional title. By winning, she advanced to the National Tourney where she placed sixth.

Krull finished 18-5 in singles play this season.
