Grassley Holds Question And Answer Session At Smokey Row

Oskaloosa, Iowa – Iowa Republican Senator Chuck Grassley was in Oskaloosa this past week, where he hosted a question and answer session with community members.

Smokey Row Coffee has played host to many politicians over the years, and the venue played host to Iowa’s senior statesmen.

Grassley faced questions and comments on supply and potential price gouging along with inflation since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Other questions asked of Grassley on his support of the latest infrastructure bill to pass the senate. Constituents questioned the spending of over a trillion dollars and why he worked with Democrats but didn’t help push through Trump’s infrastructure bill while he was in office.

Questions on unemployment benefits while jobs go unfilled also were asked. Afghanistan and the influx of undocumented migrants at the border also came up.
