Gary Seeman, 68, formerly of Montezuma, Iowa died on June 27, 2019 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Gary L. Seeman, the son of Myron and Alice Seeman, was born on October 25, 1950 in Perry, Iowa.

Gary attended Woodward Granger High School.

He was married to Patricia Thayer on July 14, 1990 on their deck at Lake Ponderosa where they made their home together.

Gary was in the Army National Guard and worked for Casey General Stores for many years retiring in 2014.

He enjoyed RC Racing, camping, fishing, traveling, living in their motor home and above all spending time with his family.

His memory will be honored by his wife, Patricia Seeman formerly of Montezuma; his children: Scott (& Julie) Crisman of Victor, Jodi (& Bradley) Sauter of Wiggins, CO, Amy King of Des Moines, and Brenda Seeman of Des Moines; his grandchildren: Heather (& Scott) Stowell of Victor, Joel (& Amber) Baestle of Victor, Megan (& Jared) Reid of Otis, CO, Karisa Seeman of Adel, Paul (& Ann) Sauter of Deep River, Thayer (& Brittney) Sauter of Fort Morgan, CO, Dustin King of Des Moines, Taylor Crisman of Victor, and Kelsey King of Des Moines; his great grandchildren: Quincie Smith, Raegen Stowell, Kaden Baetsle, Keenyn Stowell, Kayden Hanson, Brooklynn Reid, Kynlee Downey, Jace Reid, Wyatt Baetsle, Korbyn Hanson, Halle Sauter and two more on the way; his brother, David (& Linda) Seeman of West Des Moines; his sisters, Kathryn Campbell of Mesa, AZ and Judy (& Walter) DeSelm of Fremont, Iowa; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Donald Seeman; and a grandson, Darren King.

The family will have a Celebration of Life for Gary on August 31, 2019 in Victor, Iowa from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the home of Heather and Scott Stowell, 907 3rd St. Victor, Iowa 52347.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or SIDS Foundation.
