Oskaloosa–The Statesmen football team is taking its fundraising efforts to the road, selling raffle tickets with the biggest prize being a brand-new Harley Davidson motorcycle.

For $20, individuals can purchase a raffle ticket in the hopes of winning the motorcycle or other hefty prizes such as $6,000, $3,000, or $1,000 cash. Tickets can be bought through William Penn football coaches and players as well as online by going to https://www.wmpenn.edu/support-penn/2019-wpu-football-raffle

The winning raffle tickets will be draw at the 2019 Homecoming football game on October 19. Individuals need not be present to win.

“We are trying to raise enough money to purchase a new set of white helmets; we have a few other upgrades we would like to make as well and feel that if this goes well, we could continue to take Statesmen football to the next level,” Head Football Coach Todd Hafner said.
