OSKALOOSA – AJ Gevock, Director of the Regional Entrepreneurship Center (REC) at Indian Hills, will be guest presenter at the Exchange for Entrepreneurs Coffee & Conversation September 7 at Smokey Row.

Individuals who have business startup questions, venture ideas, or those are wondering about area resources and opportunities are invited to this free presentation which will begin at 7:30 a.m.

Gevock has been with Indian Hills for eight years and started his role as REC Director in 2017. He will share his expertise as well as opportunities for services and resources available to area entrepreneurs through the REC.

The REC offers a wide variety of services to all start-up businesses in the Indian Hills ten-county region including business basics, training programs, financial management, legal assistance, coaching, networking activities, product research and development and connections to college and corporate partners. The REC also offers help in identifying finance sources, provides specialized entrepreneurial knowledge, mentors, and a facility to help make businesses dreams grow.

Exchange for Entrepreneurs is a group of like-minded people in the Mahaska Community who are self-employed, moonlighting, or taking steps to follow an entrepreneurial path. Since 2015 they have been meeting, learning, discussing, supporting and addressing business issues and concerns for its members and attendees. No dues are required to be a part of The Exchange.
