Comments:
The Rockets played very competitive at the Tournament. We faced some tough teams that allowed us to gain experience we needed to improve. Our only losses were to West Branch in pool play and in the championship match. They are a very good ranked team and we found out many weaknesses that we will need to improve on to be at that level by the end of the season. I am happy with the overall play the girls put forth on Saturday. They kept pushing for the win all day long, but fell short to West Branch. We will continue to work on being consistent with passing to run our offense and blocking. Great tournament to start out with coming home with 2nd place. Our next match will be on Thursday where we will travel to Twin Cedars.
