Oskaloosa–Nick DiMarco (Jr., St. Charles, Mo., Physical Education) capped a stellar 2013 gridiron campaign by being named an All-American as Beyond Sports Network announced its top teams.

DiMarco, who was named to the Third Team Defense, becomes the 34th All-American in program history. He is the third to be honored by BSN and is the 15th All-American in Head Coach Todd Hafner’s ten-year tenure at William Penn.

The defensive end ended the regular season ranked second in the NAIA with 26 tackles for loss and third with 13 sacks. He concluded the year with 55 tackles (36 solos, 19 assists) in addition to four pass breakups, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and three blocked kicks. DiMarco scored two defensive touchdowns–one on a fumble recovery and one on a blocked field goal.

Quarterback Austin Dodge of Southern Oregon was named BSN Offensive Player of the Year, while defensive lineman Ty Phillips of Missouri Valley was Defensive POY. Kick returner Antonio Bray of Sterling (Kan.) claimed Special Teams POY accolades.

The A-A teams were selected by a vote from SIDs, coaches, media, and BSN staff.
