Delores Anne Krile, 80, of Oskaloosa, died Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at Northern Mahaska Specialty Care in Oskaloosa. She was born Sunday, June 28, 1936, in What Cheer, the daughter of Walter E. and Mildred Moore Wymore.

Delores graduated from Oskaloosa High School with the Class of 1954. On August 26, 1954, Delores was united in marriage to James M. Krile in Oskaloosa. James died on October 18, 1999.

While James was in the military they moved to numerous places in California and Utah. James retired from the military in the summer of 1973 and they moved first to Oskaloosa and later to Truax. Delores was a homemaker most of her life. She also worked at various grocery stores as a cashier. She retired from Easters in Oskaloosa in the late 1980’s.

Delores enjoyed sewing, making clothes and homemade rugs, embroidery, gardening and Bible studies.

She is survived by her two sons: Randy L. Krile and Dennis J. Krile both of Oskaloosa; a daughter, Sandra K. Cranston of Oskaloosa; four grandchildren: Joshua Krile, Erica Krile, Jay Cranston and Jessy Cranston; three brothers: Kenneth (& Ilene) Wymore of Oskaloosa, Roy (& Mary) Wymore of Kansas and Dale (& Carolyn) Wymore of Oskaloosa; a sister, Terry (& Jack) Thomas of Oskaloosa; and two sisters-in-law: Dorothy Wymore of Oxnard, California and Elsie Swim of Oskaloosa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Caleb Krile; two brothers: Russell and Everett Wymore; a brother-in-law, Frederick Carl Krile; a sister in infancy, Linda Wymore; and two sisters-in-law: Helen Knox and Joy Hatfield.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31, 2016, at 10 A.M. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with Pastor Aaron Walker officiating.
Burial will be in Bluff Creek Cemetery south of Oskaloosa.
Visitation will begin Saturday, December 31, 2016, after 9 A.M. in the Bates Funeral Chapel and the family will be present at the funeral chapel Saturday from 9 A.M. until service time at 10 A.M. to greet friends and relatives.
Memorials may be made to Care Initiative’s Hospice. The family asks that no lilies, orchids, eucalyptus or poinsettias be sent.
