Dagrin, Petersen Receive Statesmen of the Week Recognition

Oskaloosa–Men’s track and field athlete Loubert Dagrin (So., Miami, Fla., Sociology) and women’s lacrosse player MacKenzie Petersen (Jr., Albertville, Minn., Public Accounting) have been named the Statesmen of the Week for the week of February 28-March 6, presented by Gardner-Collier Jewelry.

Dagrin, in his second trip to NAIA Nationals, placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles. He reached the All-America podium for the second time in his career, doing so by breaking his own school record in a time of 7.94 seconds.

Petersen was a major part of William Penn’s offense last week. The junior scored five goals, while also assisting on six other scores. Her week was highlighted by three goals and four helpers against Ave Maria last Monday.
