Community 1st Credit Union Names Julie Montgomery Human Resources Manager

OTTUMWA, IA –Community 1st Credit Union is pleased to announce Julie Montgomery has been named Human Resources manager.

Montgomery comes to the branch with extensive HR and management experience. She spent the past five years as the Director of HR at Mahaska Bottling in Oskaloosa supporting more than 200 employees across three states. Prior to that, Montgomery worked as the HR manager for Dr. Pepper Snapple in Ottumwa, supporting more than 200 employees at a union manufacturing facility.

“My work history and passion for Human Resources has enabled me the experience to work with some of the most knowledgeable leaders in the community, both in my career and during community events,” said Montgomery. “The atmosphere at C1st has been an amazing experience, they are passionate about their core values and it shows in the amount of community involvement they sponsor and participate in. C1st is where members are treated like family.”

The Cardinal High School graduate has lived in the area her entire life. She grew up in Agency, and is currently a Delta resident. She has one daughter, Megan, who is 19. Her son Paul is 16 years old. Her husband is Paul Montgomery who works for Clow Valve in Oskaloosa. The family enjoys watching husband Paul drag race at the Eddyville Raceway track.
