Central’s Paulson in fourth after day one

PELLA—In a 57-player field, Central College junior Sarah Paulson (Ottumwa) is tied at fourth place after the first round of the Wis.-Eau Claire Spring Invitational in Eau Claire, Wis.
Paulson shot 82 on the par-73 Wild Ridge Golf Course Saturday. She is three strokes behind tourney leader Katie Ecker of Wis.-Eau Claire.
Playing as an individual entrant with Paulson, junior Ali Miller (Davenport, Davenport North HS) is tied at 31st with 91.
The 36-hole invitational concludes Sunday with an 8 a.m. start.
