Oskaloosa, Iowa (April 29th, 2015) – A Picture perfect Wednesday Night at the Southern Iowa Speedway with it being a beautiful all night long. 72 cars signed in on KBOE Radio Night and the fans were not disappointed as there was some exciting finishes.

First feature of the night was Budweiser IMCA Stock Cars feature event. Daniel Hilsabeck jumped out to the early lead but just after lap one, the caution was displayed three times before another lap was completed. Shortly after the restart, Hilsabeck had to contend with Zack Vanderbeek, Nathan Wood and Cayden Carter. Hilsabeck and Vanderbeek battled for the lead meanwhile Wood and Carter battle for third. Vanderbeek was able to grab the top spot away on lap ten, Carter and Wood got by Hilsabeck for second and third on lap 11. This is where it really got exciting as Vanderbeek, Carter and Wood got into a three car battle for the top spot and when the final race caution came out on lap 16 forcing a green-white-checkered finish, fans were on the edge of their seats. Vanderbeek, Carter and Wood raced to the start finish line in a three wide photo finish, so close everybody could see the finish differently but it was Carter getting the win. Vanderbeek was second and Nathan Wood was third. Hilsabeck and Mike Hughes finished fourth and fifth.

John Whalen lead from start to finish in the ten laps IMCA Sport Compacts feature to take his first win of the season at SIS. Trent Orwig finished second, Bill Whalen Jr was third, Jon Girdley was fourth and Curt Myers was fifth.

In the KBOE Radio IMCA Northern SportMods 16 lap feature, it was Jason McDaniel taking the early lead but when the caution came out on lap three for Ashton Johnson in turn two. On the restart, McDaniel experienced mechanical issues forcing him to pit side that allowed Brett Lowry to take over the top spot. Lowry was not to be denied as he went on to take the win over Curtis VanDerWal, Brayton Carter, Logan Anderson and Cory Van Zante.

Up next was the IMCA Pepsi Cola IMCA Hobby Stocks feature event. Bobby Greene, debuting a new car, grabbed the lead on lap one but it was Mike Kincaid taking the lead away on lap two. Kincaid continued to lead until Craig Brown worked his way to the lead on lap six. Brown was not able to get away as Dale Porter followed his way by Kincaid for second. Brown and Porter battled it out and when the only race caution came out on lap 14. Brown held challenges from Porter after the green-white-checkered to take the win. Travis Bunnell managed to get by Kincaid for third and Derek Hodges was fifth.

Final Feature of the night was the 18 lap Musco Lighting IMCA Modifieds feature event. Kyle Brown started outside front row and took the top spot away right away. Andrew Schroeder chase down Brown to take the top spot away on lap eight. Schroeder lead the remaining laps to take the win. Cayden Carter took second away from Brown on lap 13. Brown finished third, Brandon Banks was fourth and Scott Dickey was fifth.

The Shottenkirk.com Sprint Invaders invade the Southern Iowa Speedway on Pepsi Cola Mahaska Bottling Night. All five weekly classes will be in action.

It was announced that SIS will continue to reward the drivers with increased payout. IMCA Stock Cars will be $500 to win (22 or more cars) or $400 to win (21 or less) and IMCA SportMods will be $400 to win (18 or more cars) or $300 to win (17 or less). IMCA Hobby Stocks $300 to win with 22 or more. Modifieds $100 guarantee to start and $500 to win with 16 or more. Sport Compacts $200 to win with 14 or more
