Carter loved camping, attending the Iowa State Fair and Southern Iowa Fair, the Iowa Hawkeyes, bowling and had a love for giraffes. He enjoyed watching his movies and his laugh was contagious. He is also survived by numerous cousins.

Carter is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal great grandparents.

The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at the Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont High School beginning at 4:00 p.m. until service time at 7:00 p.m. with Carter’s family present to greet relatives and friends.
