Brian Brown Repeats As Front Row Challenge Champ
Oskaloosa, Iowa – The rumble of racing motors filled Oskaloosa Monday night as the Sprint Cars invaded the Southern Iowa Speedway. It was time for the 19th running of the Musco Lighting/Casey’s General Stores Front Row Challenge, presented by Don Long’s Searsboro Telephone Company.
Brian Brown’s repeat win puts him in the rare company of multi-year winners. Those winners include Sammy Swindell, who holds the record with three wins.
Last year, Brown won the race that witnessed NASCAR legend Tony Stewart’s wreck in the last laps. Stewart returned to the Southern Iowa Speedway, not as a driver this time, but as a car owner and fan. Stewart addressed the crowd after the last of the heat races at the SIS, receiving a roar of delight from those in attendance.
