Oskaloosa Spring Baseball

Baseball season is officially underway with the first games of the season played on Sunday, March 31st. A good doubleheader scrimmage for Oskaloosa vs Peak Performance at the Lacey Recreation Complex was played Sunday afternoon. The host team is made up of Oskaloosa high school players and Doug Yates, coach, stated: “We are getting the young men ready for the upcoming high school season, the spring training scrimmages allow us to move players around defensively and see some quality pitching. “Over 100 spectators also came to take a look at these early scrimmages, great start in anticipation of a great season!” For more pictures go to the Lacey Recreation Complex facebook page.
