Area Volunteers Honored

OSKALOOSA – Recently, three Oskaloosa area residents received awards for their outstanding work with the Oskaloosa Girl Scout organization. The three were recognized at separate Girl Scout events held in April.
Receiving the Volunteer of Excellence Award were Jodie Sirovy of Oskaloosa, and April Molyneux of Rose Hill. Sirovy leads two troops, and oversees the fall product and cookie sales for the organization. Molyneux is the leader of a first grade Daisy troop and also serves as the organization’s registrar.
Michael Todd Gladson of Oskaloosa was named Man of the Year for Oskaloosa Girl Scouts. Todd attends virtually every event the organization hosts and has a pivotal role in operating the cookie cupboard during product sales.
