Amy Brainard, County Youth Coordinator at What’s Up Wednesdays 5.29.2019

The Mahaska County Extension office will be hosting Amy Brainard, County Youth Coordinator at “What’s Up Wednesdays – Lunch and Learn” Wednesday May 29; 11:45 am – 1:15 pm. At What’s Up Wednesday, ISUEO specialists and county staff will be available for informal conversations each Wednesday March – May. Bring your own lunch, have your questions answered, and join the conversation!

Amy has worked for Mahaska County Extension since April of 2004 and has been the County Youth Coordinator since September of 2005. In addition to coordinating the twelve 4-H clubs in Mahaska County, she provides educational opportunities for youth in kindergarten-12th grade through in-school visits, day camps, after school programs, special interest 4-H clubs, and workshops. Nearly 450 youth and children currently participate in 4-H clubs and Clover Kids groups in Mahaska County. Stop in and visit with Amy to learn more about 4-H or if you have any questions about 4-H exhibiting at the Southern Iowa Fair!

Attendees would not need to attend the entire hour and half session. What’s up Wednesday is open to the public, and there is no cost to attend, and registration is not be required; but appreciated.
