OTTUMWA/OSKALOOSA – Three new agents have joined the team at Bridge City Realty, announced Judy Cingman, co-owner of the local real estate brokerage. Among the new agents are:

Melissa Deaton – Melissa will focus on residential & acreage sales in Mahaska County and will work primarily from the company new office in Oskaloosa, located at 1207 A Avenue East. Melissa and her husband, John have two children, Jameson and Madilyn Jo. The family enjoys ‘anything outdoors’’ and are avid campers and fishermen. Trisha Rea – Trisha has worked in her family’s business, Dixon’s Floors & More for many years and she owns her own company Pawsatively Canine Creations, a dog grooming company. Trisha will work in the Ottumwa office at 301 W Fourth St and will specialize in residential sales throughout SE Iowa. She is a graduate of Blakesburg High School and attended Simpson & Buena Vista College. Trisha and her husband, Ryan have two daughters, Josie & Morgan. Her number is 641-680-4274.

Michael Howk – Michael has worked with family operating True Value of Bloomfield for nearly 40 years. In other news at Bridge City Realty, broker Jim Clingman has been re-elected as Chairman of the Iowa Real Estate Commission. The IREC oversees all licensing and complaints of all licensed real estate agents throughout the State of Iowa. Clingman has served on the Commission since being appointed by Governor Kim Reynolds in 2018 and has served as Chair for the past few years.
