Mahaska Health Now Offers Same-Day Appointments

MAHASKA COUNTY – As of December 2018, Mahaska Health has increased regular appointment availability and now offers same-day appointments for patients seeking day-of care from their primary care providers.

Appointments are now available starting at 7:30 AM and several appointments are available over the lunch hour as well.

“It is very important to us that we are able to accommodate people who may want to see a primary care provider after waking up feeling ill or experiencing an unexpected minor injury,” said Mahaska Health Executive Director of Clinics Rujuta Vidal.

“A primary care provider serves as a partner in maintaining a patient’s overall health and well-being. There is great value in seeing a provider who understands your medical history and your unique needs. These same-day appointments will allow you to see the provider you have already established a relationship with, promoting continuity of care available at your convenience,” said Vidal.
