Oskaloosa, Iowa – Mahaska County Sheriff Russ Van Renterghem reports there were no injuries in an accident that had a delivery truck hitting the rear of a grain wagon along Highway 163 on Friday afternoon. Van Renterghem says the delivery truck was traveling southbound along 163 about half a mile north of Exit 57 when it struck two grain wagons being pulled by a tractor.
A large amount of traffic made cleaning up the accident scene difficult, as several near misses took place as people were distracted by the accident.

A vacuum truck arrived to remove the corn from the damaged wagons into a grain truck. Van Renterghem says the delivery truck was traveling southbound along 163.
The Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation.
