Albia Takes Win Over Rockets

by Coach Gladys Genskow

“Hard fought match tonight. Our Seniors had the opportunity to all play the first set and enjoyed their time on the floor. As we got into the 2nd set we stayed consistent with our play with contributed to winning those 2 sets. The 4th and 5th sets our consistency and communication took us out of momentum runs. I thought overall we passed the ball well most of the night. Our middles had great opportunities and took care of the ball, but we lacked that consistency needed to be successful. Our girls are ready to put this match behind them and get the postseason started. We can do some great things and we look forward to the opportunity Wednesday opening postseason against PCM at Eddyville.”
