Boys Tennis Blanked By Norwalk

The Oskaloosa Indians Boys Tennis Team struggled on Tuesday night against Norwalk. The Indians were taking part in their second road matchup, finding Norwalk a challege.

Norwalk blanked Oskaloosa in singles and doubles matchups, winning 11-0 over the Indians.

Indians head coach Tony Witt said, “Cade played a smart match tonight coming up just short of the win tonight. Losing in a tough 3rd set tiebreaker. Norwalk is the favorite to win the conference this year and we played them tough tonight. They didn’t graduate anyone from last year and we weren’t even close to them last year getting blown out. We were very competitive with them this year. A lot of close matches. At number 5 varsity double Jaidyn and Payton lost a close match in the third set as well. Overall very pleased with how closely we played them tonight. This should give the kids some confidence. “
