Oskaloosa–Max Lewis (So., Duchesne, Utah, Biology) will face off against the best the NAIA has to offer as he competes in the 61st Annual NAIA Wrestling National Championships Friday and Saturday.

The sophomore heavyweight, who owns a 14-6 record, is traveling an hour west to Des Moines and the Jacobsen Exhibition Center on the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

Lewis enters the double-elimination event as the #12 seed, but earned a bye in the opening round. He will then meet the winner of the match between #5 seed Quandre Chisolm (Cumberlands-Ky.) and unseeded Gaige Johnson (Oklahoma City). Chisolm has a 20-4 record, while Johnson is 17-11.
