Carl D. Bone, age 70, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away peacefully in his sleep Monday, July 17, 2017. Carl was born May 20, 1947 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the son of Leroy and Josephine (Suiter) Bone.

Carl graduated from Oskaloosa High School. He served in the United States Army from 1966-1968.

Carl married Karen Duermeyer in 1969 and attended Indian Hills Community College.

Carl worked several jobs in Oskaloosa and in 1982 moved the family to Houston, Texas, where he was the manager of North American Warehouse, followed by Compaq Computers. In 2002, he and his wife retired to Lake of the Ozarks.

His greatest joys, besides family, were fishing and golf. He was a friend to all, and always quick to help anyone.

Carl is survived by his wife, Karen; a son, Darrin (& Liza) Bone of Houston, Texas; a daughter, April (& Oscar) Galindo of Cypress, Texas; 2 grandchildren: Justin and Jessica Bone; two brothers: Gary (& Carol) Bone of Lakeland, Florida, and Dean (& Barbara) Bone of Linn Creek, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy & Josephine Bone.

A brief service for the family will be graveside in Oskaloosa.
