GRASP of William Penn University to hold Cultural Workshop

(OSKALOOSA, Iowa) – On Saturday, June 24, the Global Relationships and Awareness Student Program (GRASP) will hold a cultural workshop in room 207 of the Penn Activity Center (PAC). The workshop, which will go from 1 – 4 p.m. on the Oskaloosa campus, is an opportunity to network with members of the Oskaloosa community who are interested in promoting cross-cultural awareness and understanding. The event aims to foster an atmosphere of respect for diverse cultures, and to create an environment that develops the next generation of students to be poised for leadership in a global climate.

“The purpose of the workshop is to provide an opportunity for community members to do some networking and learn about opportunities to become involved in the Oskaloosa area through GRASP,” said Heidi Scholes, workshop coordinator and Development/Gift Stewardship Officer at William Penn University.
