The Oskaloosa High School Student Council is participating in this year’s student council state project, Iowans Helping Iowans. This project will benefit The Native Fund. The Native Fund is an organization that provides a means for Iowans to volunteer to help fellow Iowans in times of need when disasters like tornadoes or flooding occur. The Iowa Association of Student Councils has added a new twist to the state project this year, a competition between schools. The school that raises the most funds and has the most pledges to volunteer will win a visit from Ashton Kutcher and Dallas Clark! The OHS student council would like to encourage the community to go online to thenativefund.org/volunteer and fill out the volunteer form. Be sure to click Oskaloosa High School as your school affiliation. There is no commitment involved. We will also have computers set up at home basketball and wrestling meets for your convenience to sign up. We will be having various fundraisers throughout the winter season. The student council would like to thank everyone in advance for filling out the form and putting Oskaloosa High School one step closer to winning the competition! We appreciate all your help!
