The Oskaloosa girls’ basketball team played some of their best basketball in quite some time Friday night against P.C. On Saturday against Knoxville the Indians continued to show improvement as they defeated the Panthers 46-36 in non-conference action. Oskaloosa improves to 2-2 on the season while Knoxville falls to 1-3.

The teams were close through 3 ½ quarters but Osky pulled away in the 4th. Knoxville’s talented freshman Katie Keitges helped keep Knoxville close scoring 19 points through 3 quarters. Alexis Westercamp countered Keitges scoring with 24 points. Individual statistics were not available at print for this game. Oskaloosa goes back into Little Hawkeye Conference action Friday December 9th against 4th ranked Grinnell. Tip-off time is set for 6:15 pm in Grinnell.
