7th Grade Volleyball Dominates The Cardinals

The 7th Grade Volleyball team was in action last night against Newton. The girls dominated the Cardinals with winning 18 of the 20 games across all 4 teams.

The A team moved their record to 8-0 with a dominating victory of 15-10, 15-13, 15-8, 15-4, and 15-8. The team was led by Aubree Blanco with 10 aces and 1 kill followed by Macie Krier with 4 aces, Olivia Gordon with 2 aces and Faith DeRonde with 1 ace and 2 kills. The girls continue to learn in their rotations and are going to do great work in the years to come.

The B team built on their winning ways from Saturday with scores of 15-13, 11-15, 10-15, 15-7, and 15-10. The team was led by Madeline Steinbron and Autumn DeRonde with 3 aces
each followed by Rylee Ebelsheiser with 2 and Abby Drost and Ashlynn Mcdougall with 1 each. The girls keep growing and meshing together and this is showing with their success on the court.

The C team kept their winning ways going with a sweep of the Cardinals with scores of 15-13, 15-8, 15-10, 15-12, and 15-2. The team was led by Rylee Wilson with 10 aces followed by Jayley Mathews with 5, Ciera Williams with 4 and Marissa Katko and Carly Malloy with 1 ace each. The girls are becoming more confident in all aspects of their playing and starting to be successful in every part of the game.

The D team got another win with another sweep against Newton with scores of 15-10, 15-9, 15-12, 15-5, and 15-13. The team was led by Madison Roehler with 9 aces followed by Nobalee Gist with 5, Telena Woods with 4 and Nadia Hudson and Samara Gist with 2 each. These girls have grown so much and are starting to put their skills they have learned into the games.

The teams will be back in action tomorrow afternoon against Knoxville in Knoxville at 4:30.
