Harry Lamb Ogg, 62, of Oskaloosa, Iowa, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, July 24, 2016. Harry was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1953. He was raised in Santa Monica, California.

Harry was loved by many and had a kind heart and a generous spirit. Harry’s passion in life was being a ham radio operator, and was proud to have earned his amateur radio license in an era when demonstrating proficiency in Morse code was still a requirement. Now a “silent key”, he will be greatly missed by many who came to know him over the airwaves. KE6IFB.

Harry is survived by his sisters, Susie and Cathy, both of California.

A memorial gathering will be held in Oskaloosa in the fall. Garland-Van Arkel-Langkamp Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
