The Oskaloosa Indian Booster Club will host the 6th annual best ball Golf Outing on Saturday August 6, 2016 at Oskaloosa Golf with an 11:00 a.m. shot gun start. Once again, the Booster Club has acquired a Title Sponsor for this event. We are very pleased to announce that Mahaska Communications Group continues to be our partner in this project! Their sponsorship enables us to cover the entire cost of green fees and cart fees for all golfers. This allows us to allocate 100% of your golf entry fee to OIBC for disbursement to fulfill funding requests. Your donations in the past and in the future will help hundreds of Oskaloosa students in their quest for excellence in their respective activities.
We respectfully ask for your support of this event this year. Your support will directly result in funding to be distributed to our Oskaloosa Middle School and Senior High School activities. Please refer to the enclosed list of recent funding expenditures.
The cost for this year’s golf event is $300.00 per team or $75.00 per individual. This single fee includes games on the course, green fees, cart fees and range balls prior to the shot gun start. No additional money will be asked for on the course, unless players would like to purchase mulligans. Come out and enjoy the day, be a part of the activities and meet our high school coaches and players! We are also seeking Hole Sponsors again to help us cover the costs of food and prizes for this year’s tournament. The cost of hole sponsorship is $150. The day of the tournament, we will post signs on the course recognizing our sponsors and sponsors will be listed in our promotional materials.
Registration and announcements will take place from 10:00 a.m. to the 11:00 a.m. tee time. A boxed lunch will be provided for golfers to enjoy during the tournament. Golfers are encouraged to bring a small cooler for refreshments for your cart throughout the day. The OIBC Board members will be grilling outside the pro shop, offering grilled sandwiches and sides for the golfers as they come in at conclusion of the tournament.
The registration form and the hole sponsorship form are enclosed for your convenience. Please complete and return with the appropriate payment by July 23, 2016. Checks may be made payable to OIBC and mailed to PO Box 524 Oskaloosa, Iowa 52577, or given to Doug at Oskaloosa Golf. Your contribution is tax deductible as OIBC is a 501c3 entity.
