Oskaloosa City Band To Perform On Thursday

The Oskaloosa City Band will perform their weekly concert on Thursday, June 16 at 8 p.m. Concert goers are encouraged to arrive early to eat and participate in yard games. Food vendors will begin serving at 5:30 and continue throughout the evening.

This week, the musical selections will highlight the trumpet (Travelin’ Trumpets) and trombone (Lassus Trombone) sections. In addition to traditional marches and overtures, the concert list includes themes from The Waltons, Peter Gunn, and Dirty Dancing (I’ve Had the Time of My Life).

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and a bottle of bubbles and spend a relaxing evening in the city square park.
