Oskaloosa, Iowa – Helping others enjoy and learn from summertime reading was the aim of a group of kids that are part of the daycare program provided by Kelly Saville.

The kids collected books from their own collections, garage sales and a variety of other locations to accumulate the several dozen books that were donated.

Saville said that she heard about the summer reading program and called the teachers involved to find out if there was anything they could do to help. Saville likes to help the kids learn to ‘pay-it-forward’. “We are always doing something like that,” says Saville.
