Oskaloosa Elementary To Host Family Health Night

Oskaloosa Iowa Elementary School start of 2010-2011 school year.

The Oskaloosa Elementary will be hosting a Family Health Night on Thursday, March 10th from 5:30 to 7:30pm.

This year the event is being held in coordination with parent-teacher conferences. The event will be held in the gym at OES.

Some of the information that is being offered will include Dr. O’Brien discussing the effects of “screen time” and how to exchange for activity time. Mahaska Health Partnership cardiopulmonary services will provide resources for smoking cessation and effects of second hand smoke.

The Bicycle Coalition will have a tricycle obstacle course and information about the upcoming “bike rodeo”.
