Three Mahaska County Men Face Drug Related Charges
Oskaloosa, Iowa – The Mahaska County Sheriffs Office arrested three individuals on January 11th, 2016 after a search warrant was executed at a residence located at 2101 220th Street.
According to affidavits submitted to the courts, “Law Enforcement located large amounts of marijuana, packaging materials, numberous items of drug paraphernalia, and $2602 cash. These items were located in several locations throughout the residence. Deputies discovered several marijuana pipes and bong that had been used to smoke marijuana. Deputies also located evidence of marijuana that had been prepared and was ready to be smoked.”
Those facing charges after the search warrant was executed include:
Loren Parks and Troy Else are facing two Class D Felonies, including Failure to Affix Drug Stamp and Controlled Substance Violation. Parks and Else also face a Serious Misdemeanor charge of Gathering where Marijuana is Used.
Jaccob Batterson is facing two Class D Felonies, including Failure to Affix Drug Stamp and Controlled Substance Violation. Batterson is also facing two Serious Misdemeanor charges of Gathering where Marijuana is Used and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
A criminal charge is merely a criminal charge and not an indication of guilt. All suspects should be considered innocent until proven guilty.
