Andy Clark at C.L. Barnhouse has put together a multimedia presentation about the musical history of Million Dollar Quartet. Using first hand experience and industry knowledge, he’ll take us through the significance of the recording session and what it meant for the future of music.
Join us downstairs at On The Green for this free presentation on Thursday, January 21st! Come at 6:00 p.m. if you’d like to order food or drink, or 6:30 p.m. for the presentation.
For one night only, the “Million Dollar Book Club” will meet to discuss Sam Phillips: The Man Who Invented Rock ‘n’ Roll by Peter Guralnick. Listen to some of the music that played a key role in his career and discuss the lasting legacy of his mission to play a variety of music on the radio. Pick up the book at the Book Vault for 15% off and join them on Monday, January 25th at 7:30 p.m. for the book club.
