William Penn University

William Penn University

William Penn University’s freshmen honor society Alpha Lambda Delta will be holding its annual Food Drive on Saturday, November 7 from 8:30- 11:00 am. All donations will go to the Ecumenical Food Cupboard and Women’s Shelter in Oskaloosa to help families during the holidays. Honor Society members have offered several ways to get involved and donate just in time for the season of giving.

From November 2 to November 6, there will be drop boxes on campus where non-perishable food may be placed. On Saturday, November 7, students will be going around door-to-door to ask for food donations. There will also be drop-off locations outside the Hyvee and Fareway in Oskaloosa. If you plan on cheering on the Statesmen that evening at their 4 pm game against Bethel, Honor Society Students will be collecting canned goods there.

Alpha Lambda Delta is an honor society for students who have maintained a 3.5 or higher GPA and are in the top 20% of their class during their first year or term of higher education. The William Penn University Campus Community would like to thank the Oskaloosa community for its ongoing support of our hard-working students.
