Teresa Cranston, 49, of New Sharon, passed away suddenly Thursday morning, October 9, 2015 at her home in New Sharon. Teresa Dee Cranston, the daughter of Garold “Dee” and Rita (Williams) Parker, was born on June 29, 1966 at the Mahaska County Hospital in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

Teresa attended Twin Cedars High School in Bussey where she excelled in vocal music.

Teresa worked at Oskaloosa Produce before moving to Knoxville, Iowa when she began working for Mid Central Plastics in Des Moines. She also worked at Pella Corporation, where she met her best friend and soul mate, Keith Bogard.

Teresa was a collector of anything and enjoyed a good bargain and also a good garage sale. She was your typical country girl and enjoyed the outdoors, going for rides with Keith to check out the wildlife, spending time with her family and collecting Indian Dolls.

Her family includes her parents, Garold and Rita Parker of Bussey; her sons, James Cranston and Jesse Bogard Parker; her brother, Troy (& Dawn) Parker; her sister, Mary Werner; and her best friend and significant other, Keith Bogard.

Memorial services will begin at 10:30 am Monday, October 12, 2015 at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in New Sharon with David Pinkerton officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Holland-Coble Funeral Home of New Sharon is in charge of arrangements.
