Oskaloosa High School Indian Classic Softball Tournament at the Lacey Recreation Complex

Oskaloosa High School hosted the annual Indian Classic tournament on Saturday June 6th at the Lacey Recreation Complex.The touranment brought near 1,000 spectators with 20 teams competing in 25 games. Oskaloosa 9th played in one game ending in a 12-6 loss for this tournament but the Lady Indians varsity played in three games, taking the victory in all three! Cheering could be heard across 238th street thourghout the day and excitment was evident. With a perfect temperature for playing the energy was felt by all. “We have had a great day, this is is a great complex! It has been fun today! stated one first time visitor from South Hardin. Oskaloosa fans were proud of the teams performance in the tounament and in the season. The Lady Indian varsity team is currently ranked #2 in the 4A division.
