Milford Milo Shaull

Milford Shaull, 90, of Keswick, died Friday, November 19, 2010 at the Serenity House in Oskaloosa. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 22, 2010 at the United Methodist Church in Keswick. Burial will be in the Sorden Cemetery near Webster. Visitation will begin at noon on Sunday, with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Harden Funeral Chapel in What Cheer. Memorial contributions may be made to the Keswick United Methodist Church or to the Hospice Serenity House.
Milford Milo Shaull was born November 18, 1920 near Webster, Iowa the son of Raymond and Louise Pietsch Shaull. He was a 1936 graduate of the Keswick High School and on November 18, 1942 Milford was united in marriage to Loretta Bair in Lancaster, Missouri. Milford farmed in the Keswick area for many years before retiring in 1980. Like most farmers Milford demonstrated a tremendous work ethic. As soon as harvest was completed he began preparing for the next planting season. He was a great yodeler and had a very loving nature. Milford possessed strong family values and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Keswick.
He is preceded in death by his son Kevin Shaull and a sister Dorothy Cadwallader.
Milford is survived by his wife, Loretta of Oskaloosa; two daughters, Nancy (Dan) Ritchie of Carlisle and Shelley (Mike) Kirby of Oskaloosa; two sons, Roger (Susie) Shaull of Solon and Brian (Lani) Shaull of Keswick; a daughter- in- law, Debb Shaull of Sigourney and a sister Evelyn Wilkinson of Marion. Milford’s life was also blessed with eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
