There are still a few garden plots available to gardeners in Oskaloosa at two of the three community garden sites. Glendale Gardens (located North of the High School off Glendale Road) has three sites available; and William Penn Garden (located at E Ave between Trueblood and Rosenberger Ave) had twelve plots in 2015, and also have three sites still available. Hope Garden (located at 308 5th Ave East) doubled their plots from 6 in 2014 to 12 in 2015, and all plots are being utilized.

All plots at the sites have been prepared. Many gardeners have started planting in their sites. If you are interested in gardening at one the gardens in Oskaloosa in 2015; please contact the garden facilitators if you are interested in a plot at those community gardens. Ron VanHeuvelen 641-660-4319 rvheuvelen@gmail.com is OCSD Glendale Garden coordinator. Marsha Riordan 641-673-1044 riordanm/@wmpenn.edu is William Penn Garden Facilitator.
