Council Approves MCRF Maintenance Building In Special Session

Oskaloosa, Iowa – The Oskaloosa City Council met in special session on Monday to consider the site plan for a maintenance building for the Lacey Recreation Complex.

The new maintenance building will be over 6,000 square foot and will replace the 5 older structures that will be demolished.

MCRF voluntarily annexed the location into the Oskaloosa city limits in 2011. It was zoned as R1, a single family residential zone.

The motion was passed on the site plan for the property located at 2055 238th Street (Lacey Recreation Complex) for a new maintenance building and to waive the required fee for the special City Council meeting.
