Mahaska Stitch ‘n’ Quilt Guild To Host Open Sewing Day

Mahaska Stitch ‘n’ Quilt Guild, which recently held a quilt show at Penn Central Mall, is conducting an open sewing day at Penn Central Mall Center Court Area on February 21, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. An “Open Sewing Day” is a day members gather to sew projects that are of individual interest, so there are several types of projects to observe or in which to participate. Several guild
members will be available to answer questions about quilting, sewing, and to demonstrate quilting techniques. There will be a couple of sewing machines available for individuals interested in learning to sew and to practice sewing.
