GRINNELL, Iowa – Three Grinnell College players have been named to the 2014 All-Midwest Conference Men’s Soccer Team.

Joseph Brown ’15 and Isaiah Tyree ’15 were first-team selections, while Rockne Decoster ’15 was a second-team pick.

Brown, a forward from Berkeley, Calif. (Berkeley), was named to the All-MWC first team for the third season in a row. He ranked second in the league in points (23) and goals (eight) and was third in assists (seven). He ranks second all-time at Grinnell in assists with 18 and is fifth in both goals with 31 and points with 80. Earlier in the season, he set a school record for assists in a match with four.

Tyree, a goalkeeper from Rachos De Taos, N.M. (Taos), had a stellar season and leads the entire nation in goals against average (.218) and save percentage (.959). Both marks are also school and MWC records. Tyree finished his career ranked third all-time in Pioneer history in saves with 190, and fourth in both save percentage and goals against average.
