Indians Taken By The Tigers

Grinnell, Iowa – The Oskaloosa Indians took on the Grinnell Tigers in Grinnell on October 3rd. The Tigers were riding high on homecoming energy and the Indians looked to spoil the fun.
A slippery night on the field caused some issues for the Indians, and Oskaloosa Head Coach Mike Sterner said that both the offense and defense were stalled in the first half. “By the time we got things straightened out at half time, it was again an uphill battle. One thing I know about these kids is there is no quit in them and they continue to bounce back and reach for ways to get better,” said Sterner.
“I remain a believer in this team. As long as we keep swinging for the fences we have a shot. This coming week will be no different. Norwalk will be a great challenge,” added Sterner.
