Oskaloosa–The successful start to Keith Steffeck’s professional basketball career has landed him an even bigger spot overseas.

The former NAIA First-Team All-American has signed a contract with BBC Sparta Bertrange, a team in the small European country of Luxembourg. Sparta is part of the Total League. Sparta was 13-15 a year ago.

Steffeck leaves former team Usti Nad Labem BKU, where he averaged 10.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.1 blocks over 44 games. With his European season over, Steffeck is currently playing summer league ball in Iowa City.
